Microscopes

Microscopes observe objects that are too small for the naked eye to see. Originally used to study living organisms, now they are useful in many industries like metrology and quality control.

They can measure the size of tiny particles and the composition of materials.

They can measure length, width, mass, volume, and density, for example. However, microscopes are for dimensional measurements when it comes to metrology and quality control environments.

A microscope consists of two lenses: one eyepiece lens and one objective lens. The eyepiece lens attaches directly to your eye and allows you to focus on what you’re looking at through it. The objective lens attaches directly to the observed object.
