Bore Gages

Bore gages measure the size of a hole. They can measure holes in cylindrical objects, such as pipes and tubes. This makes them useful in many industries, including manufacturing, construction, mining, and aerospace.

Bore gages measure the diameter of an object using a caliper-like device. It goes into the opening and takes a measurement from the outside edge of the caliper to determine how wide it is. The measurement is typically in millimeters or inches, depending on which bore gage you use.

Some people prefer using them over other methods because of their usability. They can get accurate measurements without removing anything from your work area or using any special tools or equipment other than what you already have.
