Dial Caliper Gages

Dial caliper gages measure the size of cylindrical objects, such as pipes or tubing. They work by measuring the distance between two points on the object and then calculating the area of the circle they form. This allows you to get an accurate measurement without having to find a ruler that’s exactly the right length.

Dial caliper gages are similar to dial calipers in that you can use them to measure internal and external dimensions, but they have an additional feature that allows you to adjust the gauge jaws so that they fit the part you’re measuring more precisely. This makes them very useful if you’re working on parts that aren’t standard sizes or if you need to make adjustments based on your own measurements.
