Product Description
The Mitutoyo 148-133-10 Mechanical Micrometer Head has a hardened tool steel fine-feeding spindle and precision-lapped measuring face for better accuracy. The thimble extends at a much smaller rate, 0.25mm per revolution, than conventional micrometer heads for more precise positioning and measurement.

- Models are available with 9.5mm mounting stem diameters
- Spindle diameters available are 6.35mm / .25” and 5mm / .197”
- Mic head total lengths (open) are 48.5mm / 1.90” and 71.5mm / 2.81”
- Spherical spindle faces have lapped surfaces and are constructed of ultra-hard SKS3 steel
- Hard-chrome plated thimble with laser-etched scales for easy-to-read measurements
- External dimensions are compatible with conventional 0.5mm pitch threads
- Precision-machined spindle screw threads for incredibly precise movements
