Product Description
The Starrett 465MXSP-25 Direct Reading Large Micrometer Head is ideal for applications that require micrometer accuracy in setting and adjustment. The measuring range is 0-25mm, and the graduation is 0.002mm. It also has a spindle adjustment that permits adjusting the spindle length approximately ±1/16″ (1.5mm).

How to Use Adjustable Feature
If the spindle is against a definite stop and requires a different position, first loosen the cap screw at the end of the thimble. Then position the spindle to the desired location, and while holding the spindle in position, rotate the thimble to zero and retighten the cap screw.
