Product Description
The Starrett 128AZ Inside Micrometer Set features a wide measurement range without changing anvils. The ground contact point seats the internal micrometer faster and more accurately than the spherical contacts found on other gages. With an IP65 level of protection against coolant, water, dirt, and dust, it’s ideal for hostile environments.
Use the satin-chrome micrometer head in combination with tubular steel measuring rods to obtain the required length. Additionally, the head is interchangeable with the 128 end rods and extension combinations.
The 128AZ set includes a micrometer head, six rods, and three extension rods in a wooden case.

Manufacturer Note
For inch-reading tools, adjust the head within a range of 2″. It extends the overall range by an additional 5″. The special 81-138J Jeweled Non-Shock Indicator has 0.0005″ graduations, range ±.040″, and reads 0-40 on both the plus and minus dials.
