The Starrett 642Z dial depth gage will help you get the most out of your work. It has a 4″ (100mm) base and can extend to 8.6″ (215mm). It features a .001″ graduation and a 0-8.6″ measuring range. Not to mention, the user does not have to reposition the indicator for the full range available. This makes the 642AZ dial depth gage easier to use than others on the market today.
Back-Plunger
This dial depth gage uses the back-plunger indicator to provide an upward-facing dial for easier readout. The operator selects the extension and contact point required, zeros the tool on a master, and then reads any deviation of the work directly on the dial.
