Product Description
The Starret 643JZ Dial Depth Gage is useful in many applications. It has a 4″ (100mm) base and two contacts, each of which can be connected to five extensions that extend the range to 8.6″ or 215mm. Included are charts showing combinations of contacts and extensions required to achieve certain lengths.
In action, the inspector gently pushes against a surface plate or other calibrated surface. If needed, rotate the bezel dial’s zero indication with the needle. Zero is then set and can be locked via the locking screw.
