The Starrett 823EZ Tubular Inside Micrometer Set offers all the precision and reliability you expect from the Starrett name, at a price that won’t break the bank. Made of steel tubing, the extension rods are lightweight and extremely rigid. They’re approximately 3/8″ (9.5mm) in diameter, which makes them ideal for mechanics who prefer this larger diameter.
The interchangeable anvils ensure that you’ll always be able to get the perfect measurement, no matter what the job requires.
Each rod attaches to either one or both ends of the head—meaning you can find the best balance, feel, and ease of reading depending on your preference. You can also adjust each rod individually for wear by the hardened and ground anvil at its end.
