Product Description
The Starrett 449AZ-3R Non-Rotating Blade Micrometer Depth Gage has a 0-3″ measuring range with a 2-1/2″ (63mm) base and three interchangeable rods. The blade is .045″ thick and 1/8″ wide (1.2 x 3.2mm). Sturdy enough to measure the smallest part of your project without breaking or bending.
The blade does not turn, but moves perpendicularly only, permitting depth measurement of narrow shoulders without the bade rolling off. Position the blade at any angle relative to the base to accommodate different applications on the workpiece.
Experience uniform pressure and quicker adjustment with a combination ratchet and speeder. This makes the 449AZ-3R perfect for inspection work or production line work. It comes with three interchangeable rods and an adjusting wrench in a padded case.

Blade Micrometer Depth Gages
A blade micrometer depth gage is a device that measures the depth of a hole or groove. What makes it unique is its versatility; it can measure widths, depths, thicknesses, and diameters. Take measurements by inserting the blade into the groove and measuring how far it goes in.
